Shoshana Pinedo was born and raised in Amsterdam. After coming to the United States and graduated from the Academy of Art University with a M.A. in Fashion Design and Construction, Shoshana continues to create one-of-a-kind pieces through the exploration of unique materials and fabric experimentation. She consults and designs for boutique studios, international ateliers and major brands such as Viktor & Rolf, J.Crew, Converse and Calvin Klein. Most recently Shoshana joined travel startup Away to expand the accessories product category helping to grow the company into one of the fastest unicorns yet.

I am a Dutch/American Designer with experience working for luxury and start-up markets such as Viktor & Rolf, Jason Wu, Calvin Klein and Away as well as Global mass-market design at Converse and Gap Inc. I'm a creative, technically minded and extremely motivated, skilled at all aspects of design, from concept development to finished product. I'm a team player and problem solver with strong leadership skills who is dedicated to sustainability, company growth and productivity.
